Escrow, explained

Your money is protected at every step.

1. Transaction opened. Once terms are agreed (or you click Buy Now), an Escrow.com transaction is created with the domain, price and both parties.

2. You pay Escrow.com. Not us. Escrow.com verifies and holds the funds. Wire transfer, card and other methods are offered depending on the amount.

3. We transfer the domain. As soon as escrow confirms payment, we push the domain to your registrar account or provide an authorisation code.

4. You confirm, funds release. When the domain is in your account, you confirm on Escrow.com and the funds are released to us. Simple and fully protected.

Every name on Domain Lotus is owned outright by Domain Lotus and registered in our own accounts. We never list names on behalf of third parties, so the person you speak with is the person who can sell.

How does payment work?

All sales are completed through Escrow.com, the most widely used escrow service for domain names. You pay into escrow, we transfer the domain, and funds are released only once you confirm it is in your account.

How long does a transfer take?

Push transfers within the same registrar usually complete the same day. Inter-registrar transfers typically take 1–5 days. We stay with you until the name is live in your account.

Can I make an offer on a priced domain?

Yes. Every listing accepts offers. Priced names can be purchased immediately, but we are always happy to discuss terms directly.

Do you offer payment plans?

For many names, yes. Mention it in your offer or inquiry and we will propose a lease-to-own or instalment structure through escrow.
